With just two weeks to go until Christmas Eve, Ruddington was turned into a winter wonderland today – as shown by this slideshow of village photographs posted to our social media sites:-
Our thanks to everyone who shared a snowy photo. As you can see, there was quite a lot of dog walking going on!
Although Ruddington was not affected as badly as many parts of the region it was certainly enough to put many people into a festive mood – especially as the snow fell on a Sunday. Despite this, Perkins Hardware opened especially today to sell sledges – whilst passengers on the fully booked GCRN Santa Special trains couldn’t have hoped for a more scenic journey!
